In the US, app developer and analytics platform Kontagent has appointed former Glu Mobile insights exec Lin Wang as Director of Professional Services, responsible for a team of data scientists and business intelligence analysts.

Wang (pictured) joins from mobile games publisher Glu Mobile, where as Director of Customer Insights he established and implemented all corporate and in-game analytics strategies and marketing. Prior to that, he headed a group of data analysts at Nielsen NetRatings, and worked on apps and other software at Affymetrix.

He now joins Kontagent's team of data scientists, whose primary objective is to help customers understand how they can improve their apps in order to increase user acquisitions, retention and monetization.
