Meghann Sills ElrhoulNew York-based social media measurement specialist Trendrr.TV has appointed former Nielsen Manager of Analytics Meghann Sills Elrhoul as Vice President of Client Services and Analytics.

Trendrr.TV uses tools to process and understand social media data relating to TV programs, and ranks shows by attention and segment awareness across different devices and social networks. The firm filters data from Twitter, Facebook, GetGlue and Viggle and sorts it by location, influence, sentiment and other factors.

Elrhoul joins after five years at Nielsen, where she initially worked as a researcher, and latterly helped develop research methodologies for cross-media measurement. In this role, she also focused on social media analysis, especially where related to television and online properties.

In her new position, Elrhoul will work with Trendrr.TV’s client base, which includes more than 30 television networks and dozens of brands, studios and media organizations, while also assisting the firm’s expansion into the Hispanic marketplace.

CEO Mark Ghuneim comments: ‘Meghann is one of the few people on earth following the analytics side of the industry as closely as we are, which makes her qualified to help us define the next wave of social TV measurement.’

Separately, Trendrr.TV has moved its headquarters from New York City’s Meatpacking district to Soho, as part of an expansion and reorganization.
