Martin DoettlingUS-based web, social, and mobile analytics provider Webtrendsdigital marketing and technology industry veteran Martin Doettling has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for driving the firm’s global strategy.

Doetlling (pictured) joins with more than 20 years’ industry experience, having most recently worked at IBM Smarter Commerce, where he helped the group launch its first product in the cloud app space. Prior to IBM’s acquisition of Coremetrics in 2010, Doettling worked there as VP of Product Marketing, leading the strategy for the company’s portfolio of analytics and digital marketing solutions. Earlier in his career, he held exec product marketing roles at CollabNet, Kana, Vitria, Remedy, and Adobe.

Commenting on his new employer, Doettling said: ‘Webtrends empowers the CMO by providing the relevant data and compelling insights today’s marketing teams need to deliver the right marketing strategies that break through the digital noise, deliver a better customer experience, and drive value to the business.’
