In New York, Kantar Health has appointed former IMS Health exec Gary Gatyas as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing and Communications. He will oversee media relations, interactive communications, and marcoms strategies across the firm’s global business units.

Gatyas joins from IMS Health, where he directed global media relations and marketing programs, and helped launch the IMS Institute for Healthcare Informatics. He previously served as Associate Director at KPMG, responsible for crisis and corporate communications. Prior to that, he led client account teams at Gibbs & Soell Public Relations, and the Dudnyk Group of Marketing Companies.

In his new role, Gatyas is also tasked with helping develop communications programs that support Kantar Health’s employee relations and talent acquisition strategies.
