UK-based behavioural insights firm Beyond Analysis has appointed Stephan Tual as Group Technology Director, to lead its new product innovation and technological development.

Founded in 2007 by former dunnhumby directors Paul Alexander and William Beresford, Beyond Analysis uses transaction data to provide clients with a holistic view of their customers’ lives. Its Customer DNA (C-DNA) solution enables businesses to translate lifestyle, demographic, and affluence measures into consumer segments, while its Valve service offers customer grouping based on value and engagement with the brand.

Tual (pictured) joins from digital agency Cimex, where he briefly served as Technical Director and Board member prior to the firm’s closure. Before this, he was Technical Director of customer-focused business strategy agency 5one, and CTO and co-director of software firm SiteJourney, and he founded online publishing tool Tarapad.com.
