In the UK, Impact Research co-founder Michael Brainch has been promoted to the position of Senior Associate Director.

The Walton-on-Thames-based firm was set up in 2010 by Brainch and his former Holden Pearmain colleague Darryl Swift, to offer qual and quant surveys, while also positioning itself as a resource for overworked client research departments needing extra capacity.

Brainch (pictured) worked for Holden Pearmain for five years after graduating from Southampton University, and latterly served as the firm’s Research Manager, with responsibility for tracking and ad hoc studies.

Last year, the pair were joined by Holden Pearmain co-founder David Pearmain, who joined Impact Research as Director of Advanced Analytics.

Commenting on his new role, Brainch said: ‘I am passionate about building relationships with clients and developing my team to be the best that they can be. I will not be complacent and ensure that Impact continues to deliver above and beyond expectations.’
