In the US, business intelligence, research and consulting services specialist Proactive Worldwide (PWW) has appointed Dennis Timko as Engagement Manager in its Life Sciences/Healthcare practice.

From its headquarters just outside Chicago and offices in Shanghai and Rome, PWW obtains primary data, analyzes it, and identifies related client actions.

Timko (pictured) joins with more than 20 years’ healthcare industry experience, with a focus on healthcare economics, policy, cost containment, and access. During his career, he has held senior roles at several healthcare organizations including Humana, Multiplan, PacifiCare (United Healthcare), and Walgreens. He also served as a Consultant on the Healthcare team at Arthur Andersen Consulting.

In his new role, he will report to Carl Derenfeld, VP – Life Sciences/Healthcare, who comments: ‘Dennis’ portfolio of managed care, specialty pharmacy, health economics, and health policy experience positions our practice to provide the decision support services that today’s decision makers require, especially in light of changes in insurance and service models.’
