Kentucky, US-based Thoroughbred Research Group has appointed David A. Bryant as Vice President of Health Policy Research, based in the Washington, DC area.

He brings more than 25 years of experience in health policy research, most recently as Director of the Health Policy Institute for Ipsos Public Affairs in the US. He has also worked as principal researcher for two of the USA’s largest HMOs and a global insurance company. Areas of focus include the measurement of patient satisfaction and the development of performance standards. Bryant has also taught statistics and applied research methods at Pepperdine University, and holds a Masters in Healthcare Economics from UCLA and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Brigham Young University.
