In the US, digital analytics firm Anametrix has appointed former WebSideStory exec Olivier Silvestre as Vice President of Client Success, tasked with overseeing its account management teams, data scientists, and other specialists in its professional services team.
Launched in 2010 by WebSideStory founder Blaise Barrelet, Anametrix offers technology which correlates vast amounts of data gathered from web analytics, social media, search engine marketing (SEM), e-mail campaigns, market research surveys, customer relationship management (CRM), and enterprise resource planning (ERP).
Silvestre (pictured) joins from personalization software firm Certona Corporation, where he led the Revenue Optimization team, prior to which he co-founded web analytics consultancy Tealium with former WebSideStory colleagues Mike Anderson and Ali Behnam, He joined WebSideStory in 1999, and spent nine years there in various senior roles including Director of Web Analytics, prior to the company’s name change to
Visual Sciences and sale to
Omniture (now part of
Adobe).
