Steve RousseauUS-based video analytics firm Visible Measures has hired auto advertising veteran Steve Rousseau as Vice President, Automotive Sales, in charge of leading the company’s sales efforts in the automotive sector.

Visible Measures uses its patented proprietary video analytics technology to deliver targeted video advertising. The firm has also developed a number of digital video metrics for the advertising industry, including what it describes as the world's first accredited viewership and earned media metrics.

Rousseau joins with a 20 year background in managing sales and marketing operations. Most recently, he served as VP, Client Development at Univision Communications, where he led the auto vertical in Detroit. Prior to this, he was EVP Sales & Marketing at video content site OnCars.com and he ran his own consultancy Rousseau Communications. Earlier in his career, Rousseau served as VP Group Publisher and General Manager at Primedia, and Regional VP of Sales at PSP Sports Marketing.

In his new Detroit-based role reporting to SVP of Sales and Account Management Marc Schraer, Rousseau will focus on helping auto manufacturers develop and launch online branded content campaigns.
