Research, analysis and insight recruitment specialist Resources Group has hired former Major Players exec Alison Barbour as a Senior Consultant in its Analysis & Intelligence team.

London-based Resources Group also has an office in Sydney, Australia and recruits at all levels of seniority in three specialist areas: market research and insight; professional services marketing; and information, media and digital.

Barbour (pictured) joins after three years at Major Players, where she recruited web analytics, data analysis, customer insight, media insight/intelligence and media auditing staff at all levels, in the UK and overseas. Prior to this she spent nearly seven years at Reilly People, and earlier in her career, she worked at Staffwise’s sales and marketing recruitment agency Simpson Lang Associates.

Commenting on her appointment, Carl Dines, Sector head at Resources Group, said: ‘Alison brings a wealth of experience in the analysis (including web analytics) and intelligence sector, and her joining strengthens and extends our services in this growth specialisation.’
