Prashant FuloriaMobile app measurement and ad platform firm Flurry has appointed former Google product leader Prashant Fuloria as Chief Product Officer.

From its offices in San Francisco, New York and London, Flurry helps clients to measure, advertise and monetize mobile properties. Earlier this month, the firm announced it would be making its Flurry Analytics service available for apps and mobile-optimized web sites, in the next few weeks.

Fuloria (pictured) was previously an Executive in Residence at venture capital firm, the Mayfield Fund and a lecturer at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. Prior to this, he served as Product Management Director at Facebook for more than three years, and he spent more than six years at Google, in charge of the firm’s products for the Asia Pacific region. Earlier as Senior Product Manager for Closedloop Solutions, he build distributed financial planning and forecasting apps.

In his new role, Fuloria reports to President and CEO Simon Khalaf, who comments: ‘Prashant has made significant contributions to both search and social advertising, helping them scale to multi-billion dollar industries. I am excited to have Prashant bring his expertise to the mobile advertising world, and help grow Flurry products to that level of scale.’
