Cision

August 19 2013

Audience monitoring and engagement software firm Cision has promoted Dawn Conway, previously EVP Customer Experience and Global Content Licensing, to the new role of COO.

Reporting to President and CEO Peter Granat, Conway will lead product, marketing, sales, analysis, finance and media research and will drive the overall strategic vision for the US business.

Before joining Cision, Conway spent more than twenty years at LexisNexis, rising to SVP and holding key management positions within sales, marketing, content licensing, business development and corporate responsibility. She is also an attorney, current member of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, American Bar Association and the National Association of Women Lawyers; and is the current Chairman of the content and copyright committee for the International Association for Measurement & Evaluation of Communication (AMEC).

‘Dawn is an experienced and trusted leader with a proven track record for driving innovation and delivering results’ says Granat. ‘I have tremendous confidence in her ability to lead strategic growth with a focus on customer experience at Cision.’

Cision has offices in Europe, North America and Asia, and provides software to help clients identify key media and influencers, connect with audiences, monitoring traditional and social media, and analyse outcomes.
