Mission Measurement

November 6 2013

Ted KnikerUS public sector performance improvement specialist Mission Measurement has appointed Ted Kniker as a Principal, to focus on expanding the firm’s government and international development business.

Chicago and Washington, DC-based Mission Measurement uses proprietary methodologies and data to help corporate, government and non-profit organizations develop ‘social impact’ strategies and measure the value of these strategies among consumers and other stakeholders.

Kniker (pictured) joins with more than 25 years of experience in the private and public sectors. Most recently, he was the Executive Director of The Performance Institute, a non-partisan think-tank providing research, training and consulting in the areas of public sector performance, accountability, and transparency. Earlier, he was an Executive Consultant with the Federal Consulting Group of the US Department of the Interior; Chief Evaluation and Performance Measurement at the US Department of State; and he held various senior roles at the US Information Agency.

In his new Washington DC-based role, Kniker oversees client engagements with NGOs, federal and state government agencies, non-profits, and corporations.

CEO Jason Saul comments: ‘By using our proprietary research methodologies, we can compare the relative performance of our clients’ program portfolios, thereby allowing them to allocate their resources more wisely. Ted’s expertise in evaluating ‘hard to measure’ programs and his in-depth knowledge of predictive analytics will enable us to do just that for even more governments and non-profits, across the country and around the world.’
