Ali SmithUK-based market research agency Firefish has appointed former Truth Consulting Executive Partner Ali Smith as Associate Director.

Firefish, which also has offices in London, New York, and Amsterdam, offers both qualitative and quantitative research, and boasts a specialist kids and family division called The Pineapple Lounge.

Smith (pictured) joins from insight consultancy Truth, where she worked for more than two years across a number of retail clients, while also leading qual projects for the Post Office. Prior to this, she was Research Manager at ABA Market Research for five years. Her expertise includes understanding shopper behaviour, ethnographics, and co-creation, along with proposition testing and innovation, and NPD.

Jem Fawcus, firefish’s Group CEO, comments: ‘Before any hire, we ask ourselves many questions. One of those is whether this person will strengthen our offer to our clients, and Ali’s experience across retail and brand research will do just that.’
