Kevin SterneckertBig retail data analytics specialist eCommera has hired former Gartner analyst Kevin Sterneckert as Chief Marketing Officer, to develop strategic ad and branding campaigns, and oversee all marketing communications.

eCommera combines big data analytics, commerce and order management platforms to help retailers across the globe sell across any channel. The firm has offices in the US, Canada, UK, France, Bulgaria, and India.

Sterneckert (pictured) joins with more than twenty years’ experience in retail-related roles. At Gartner, he served as Research Vice President, overseeing analysis of hundreds of retail-focused software solutions, prior to which, he worked for the firm as Research Director – Consumer Value Chain. Earlier, he was Senior Director of Product Strategy – Merchandise Planning at Oracle USA, and he was a Senior Director at consumables retail specialist Daymon Worldwide. He also held retail leadership positions at DemandTec, Big V Supermarkets, Hechlinger, Wal-Mart Stores, and HEB.
