Adam Pierozynski and Rebecca KingstonIn London, custom pharma research specialist Double Helix has appointed four trainee Research Executives: Adam Pierozynski, Jesse Monney, Rebecca Kingston and Zaynah Saleheen.

Double Helix was founded in 1995 in London and was acquired in 2012-13 by Interpublic company McCann Health. Pierozynski joined the firm’s Discovery team in April, after graduating from the University of Manchester with a BSc (Hons) in Biology, and spending a year in industry at a biotechnology company, running his own research project. He later gained an MSc in Immunology and Immunogenetics from Manchester, with his research being published in The Journal of Immunology.

At the beginning of October, Double Helix Discovery welcomed Jesse Monney to the team. He has a BSc (Hons) in Molecular Medicine from the University of Sussex, and joined with an understanding of hospital laboratory processes, for a range of pathologies.

Rebecca Kingston joined in the Autumn after studying at the University of Birmingham, where she gained a BSc (Hons) in Human Biology, and then completed work experience in Merck, Sharp & Dohme as part of her degree course.

Finally, Zaynah Saleheen also joined on 1 October 2014 with an honours degree in Pharmacology from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Neuroimaging at King’s College, London.
