Kimberly HosmerUS-based information and analytics firm IHS has appointed Kimberly Hosmer as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.

Launched in 1959, IHS provides information services and forecasting to the aerospace and defence, automotive, chemical, energy, finance, maritime and technology sectors. Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, the firm employs more than 8,000 people in 31 countries around the world.

Hosmer (pictured) joins from Experian, where she most recently served as Global Chief Marketing Officer. During her eight years with the company, she set up a global e-Commerce team, launched a reputation management program, implemented a strategy to transform the customer experience, and re-launched the global brand. Before this, she spent eleven years at Western Union, where she worked in product management and marketing.

In her new role, Hosmer will develop and manage customer-focused marketing strategy for IHS worldwide, while also leading the global marketing division.
