Wayne McCulloughThe Board of the MRII has elected Wayne McCullough, MD of the Office for Health Equity and Inclusion at the University of Michigan Health System, as its Board President for 2015. He succeeds Environics CEO Barry Watson.

Founded in 1995 by a consortium of industry execs, MRII (Marketing Research Institute International) is a not-for-profit education organization which offers a range of membership services, including training through a partnership with the University of Georgia.

McCullough (pictured) has held his current role for the past nine months, prior to which he was a Senior Consultant at Solution Partners, and he worked at The University of Michigan as Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations. Earlier, he was Director Market Research at DaimlerChrysler and at Ford Motor Company; Director of Marketing Research at Bank One; and Program Director, Communications Research at IBM. He has been an MRII Board Member for the past seven years, and previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at the American Marketing Association.

Commenting on his appointment, McCullough said: 'I am honored to by the opportunity to work with the MRII Board and our partners at the University of Georgia to continue to provide industry-leading online market research education programs.'

In addition, the MRII Board has elected Lisa Courtade, Head of Global Market Research at Merck, as President-Elect, and Bart Weiner, principal at BW Consulting, as Treasurer. Weiner replaces Mike Halberstam, Chairman at Interviewing Service of America.
