In the UK, social and consumer trend forecasting firm the Trajectory Partnership has appointed Ruairi O'Shea as a Graduate Analyst.
London-based Trajectory was
launched in 2008 by former Opinion Leader MD
Paul Flatters, Future Foundation co-founder Michael Willmott, and former Henley Centre MD Chris Farmelo, to apply the full range of qual and quant methods to social analysis and forecasting. In 2010, the firm
acquired the GLIMPSES trends database from research, consultation and communication charity The Tomorrow Network.
O’Shea (pictured) joins after completing a Master’s degree in Cultural Geography at Royal Holloway University, where his dissertation drew on the changing nature of urban dynamics, focussing on the composition of the ‘Long Live Southbank’ campaign and its dispute with the Southbank Centre. Earlier, he received a BA in Geography from the Royal Holloway.
In his new role, O’Shea will be working across all areas of the business, and his clients currently include Visit England, 02, and the Big Lottery Fund.
