Aaron GoldmanIn the US, data science company 4C Insights has appointed Aaron Goldman as Chief Marketing Officer, based at its offices in Chicago.

The company, which is also based in New York, Seattle and Singapore, offers a social media intelligence and activation platform that collects public social media data and applies proprietary data science algorithms to determine the relationships between people and brands. 4C Insights was initially founded by Northwestern University professor Alok Choudhary, and officially launched in 2013 through a merger between social media data analyst Voxup and ad and e-commerce specialist The Echo System.

Goldman (pictured) joins with more than fifteen years’ digital marketing experience. Most recently, he was CMO for marketing software firm Kenshoo, prior to which, he founded digital marketing consultancy Connectual, and he served as VP of Marketing at ad agency Resolution Media. Earlier in his career, Goldman ran the Midwest US sales team for online ad network MaxOnline.

In his new role, Goldman will report to CEO Lance Neuhauser, who comments: ‘Aaron brings a proven track record of innovative marketing for some of the most successful companies in our space. As a prolific writer and speaker, he's also well-positioned to deliver thought leadership for our clients.’
