Acacia Avenue

September 17 2015

Louise Horner and Matt CadeLondon-based full service agency Acacia Avenue has hired former Barclays Bank researcher Louise Horner to head up its Quantitative offer, while Matt Cade joins as a Research Executive.

Founded in 2002 by TRBI and The Fourth Room co-founder Wendy Gordon, and The Fourth Room colleagues Caroline Hayter, Martin Lee and Ro Pocock, Acacia Avenue offers both qual and quant research, and taps into the latest thinking taken from the worlds of behavioural economics and social sciences.

Horner (pictured) joins from Barclays Bank, where she worked for the past five years and most recently served as Senior Market Research Manager. Before this, she was a Research Director at Hall & Partners, and she worked for the Evening Standard for nine years, where she latterly served as the newspaper’s Insight Manager.

Commenting on the appointments, Hayter said: ‘As behavioural understanding is increasingly fundamental, old systems need to be challenged and new tools and approaches introduced. Louise will be a great asset in being able to offer our clients well grounded, joined up thinking across our whole research offer, in this environment.’

Cade joins from Hays, where he was a Recruitment Consultant, having previously been a Research Consultant at KAE, working on qualitative financial services, telecoms, media and technology projects.
