Louisville, Kentucky-based Thoroughbred Research Group (TRG) has appointed Ipsos veteran Jeff Samulowitz as Director of Research, working specifically with the healthcare team.

Founded in 1976 and originally known as Wilkerson & Associates, TRG provides qual and quant data collection, online research, analysis and consultation. In September, the firm opened a new 65-seat call center in Phoenix, Arizona, adding to its existing locations in Mayfield, KY; Cape Coral, FL; and Ft. Myers, FL.

Samulowitz (pictured) joins after 32 years at Ipsos, where he latterly served as Director of Ipsos Health Policy Institute – US Public Affairs from 2004-2015, responsible for the overall execution and management of NCQA, HEDIS and CAHPS studies. He has extensive experience managing large scale research projects with an emphasis on healthcare satisfaction.
