In New Zealand, MR tools and software provider Infotools has appointed Dugald MacDonald to lead the ongoing development of its technology and delivering new tools to convert raw data into marketing insights.

MacDonald (pictured) joins from customer services solutions specialist LiveOps where he served as Senior Director of Engineering (GM NZ), in charge of a team of software engineers, which included engineering managers in the US, Canada and India. Earlier, he held executive roles at ANZ Bank, was Lead Software Engineer at Aderant and Technical Team Leader at Piper Consulting.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Ant Franklin said: ‘We undertook an extensive search to find the right fit for this critical role and are delighted Dugald has joined our development team. An experienced software development leader, he brings a deep understanding of what it takes for an organisation to be outstanding in the technology space.’
