In the US, consumer insights firm iModerate has appointed Steve Lopez as Vice President of Business Development, responsible for leading the firm’s entry into new markets and cultivation of new client relationships.

Founded in 2004 by former Penn, Schoen and Berland exec Carl Rossow and pollster Joel Benenson, Denver, Colorado-based iModerate enables instant messaging between consumers and professional moderators to generate market insights and to increase the quality of online surveys.

Lopez (pictured) joins from marketing execution services provider OneTouchPoint Mountain States, where he served as CEO for the past six years, overseeing all operations until the sale of the company. Earlier, he held senior roles with comms services provider Henry Wurst, and printers Cenveo and National Hirschfeld.
