In London, WPP-owned media agency MEC has promoted Kathryn Saxon to the newly created role of Head of Research.
Saxon (pictured) joined MEC ten years ago as a Consultant, and most recently served as Research Group Consultant Director, leading the roll out of the firm’s Webtrack product and Group M’s new insight and planning resource
LIVE Panel across the UK. During her time with the firm, she also merged the Research and Social Insight teams into a combined unit. Earlier in her career, she was Mediacom’s Research Manager, and a Research Executive at Universal McCann.
In her new role, she reports to Chief Data Officer David Fletcher, who comments: ‘Under Kathryn’s leadership, our Research and Insights team has grown into a standalone, market leading proposition, which delivers leading edge technical and strategic thinking to clients.’
