David KayeWPP audience profiling and targeting division Xaxis has appointed David Kaye as Vice President, Client Engagement, leading new business initiatives across the East Coast US markets.

Xaxis was formed in 2011, promising to bring together the global group's ad buying capabilities with a colossal database to offer clients the 'world's largest pool of audience profiles'. The firm now delivers results for more than 2,800 clients in 44 markets across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East.

Kaye (pictured) joins after a ten-year career at The Economist, most recently as Global MD, in charge of product development, marketing and sales for the Economist Careers Network business education unit. Earlier, as SVP, Chief Revenue Officer, he guided all sales and marketing strategy, team leadership and revenue lines for the group's business in The Americas. Before this, he worked for Ziff Davis Media as West Coast Associate Publisher for PC Magazine.
