Sean BettsOmnicom's data, technology and analytics division Annalect has promoted Sean Betts to the role of UK Managing Director.

Launched in 2010, Annalect brings together hundreds of digital and analytic experts from across Omnicom's specialty divisions, to offers services such as media analytics, business intelligence, tools and dashboard systems, and econometric modelling. For the past year, Betts (pictured) has served as Deputy MD, having previously been Head of Agile Client Solutions and Client Director at Havas Media UK, and AD at Mediacom where he worked for six years.

In his new role, Betts will help to guide Annalect's EMEA strategy, while using its data and analytics expertise to support Omnicom’s UK media agencies. He will jointly report to EMEA CEO Jon Ghazi and Omnicom Media Group CEO Philippa Brown, who comments: 'As our business continues to evolve at pace, and with the importance both we and clients put on data, tech and analytics, it is imperative that we have the strongest possible Annalect UK leader in situ. That leader is Sean. He is full of ideas, has a great vision and is a powerful advocate of making the complicated simple'.
