Oslo, Norway-based fieldwork group Norstat has appointed Xavier Geoffret as Associate Director – Consultancies in its UK office.

Norstat provides access to online panels in nineteen countries, and other traditional data collection methods in some of those markets. Last year, the firm launched a mobile app for its panellists and began implementing various behavioural tracking features in its online panels.

Geoffret (pictured) joins from Research Now, where he spent the past six years and latterly served as Client Development Manager – Strategy Group, responsible for revenue growth in private equity, management consulting, hedge funds, and investment companies. He initially worked as Sample Buyer in Research Now’s International Sample Solutions division (ISS Group), having previously worked for parent company e-Rewards as International Sales Support Executive. Earlier, he was a Qualitative Moderator at All Global.

Commenting on the appointment, COO Erling Eriksen said: ‘I am thrilled to have someone with Xavier`s skills and competencies onboard. Xavier will complement already excellent sales resources in London and we expect the entire Norstat group to benefit from such a significant hire.’
