comScore has promoted Jonah Ken Tan to Vice President, Southeast Asia, based in Singapore and reporting to Asia Pacific SVP Joe Nguyen. Tan will lead the business in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, and replaces Kerry Brown, who moves to local audience data specialist Eyeota to serve as VP of Research and Offline Products.
comScore was recently
selected to provide online audience measurement currency in Indonesia and earlier this year renewed its contract for the same in
Malaysia.
Tan joined comScore in 2014 as Solutions Director, Asia Pacific, leading pre-sales consultancy and partner development for its advertising product suite across 13 markets in the region. He worked previously as Director, Digital Sales at Singtel, and in sales and business development roles at companies including PayPal, Yahoo!, Friendster and Cisco. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and an MBA with a major in Strategy from Nanyang Technological University.
Nguyen says Tan's 'determination, work ethic and partner relation skills, along with his company and product knowledge, will translate well' in the fast-growing Southeast Asian markets. He adds: 'I would like to thank Kerry Brown for her four years leading our Southeast Asia business. Her passion, innovation and strong industry knowledge have been key in the company's continued growth and success in the region... We wish her well in her future endeavours'.
