Carat Australia has appointed Brendon Cropper in the new role of Chief Data and Experience Officer. He joins from Ooh Media where he was Digital Strategy Director for the last eighteen months.

Before Ooh Media, Cropper founded and ran a company called Digital Training, prior to which he served as GM of Starcom Digital.

His new role, starting on March 20th includes leading Carat's digital and programmatic offering and aims to give the agency a 'market-leading data proposition for clients', according to news site www.mumbrella.com.au . He reports to Carat CEO Paul Brooks and will also work closely with Dentsu Aegis Network Chief Data Officer Phil Zohrab.

Brooks said in a statement the 'CDXO' role would help 'curate a holistic user, business and technology-appropriate experience', and that Cropper's appointment 'signals Carat's ongoing commitment to diversifying its product offering in line with the rapid rate of change in this digital economy'.
