Nielsen has appointed Logitech International S.A. Chairman Guerrino De Luca as a member of its Board, effective next month.

De Luca (pictured) has been Chairman of Swiss PC and mobile accessories company Logitech since January 2008. He served as President and CEO from joining the company in February 1998 to January 2008, and returned to serve two additional periods, as acting President and CEO from July 2011 to April 2012 and as CEO from April 2012 to January 2013.

Before joining the company he was EVP of Worldwide Marketing for Apple Computer, Inc. He holds a Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Rome, Italy.
