In the US, MFour has appointed industry veteran Tracy Visconti as Research Manager, Client Service Solutions, while James Cook joins as System Administrator.

Based in Newport Beach, California MFour uses GPS technology to collect information at the 'point of emotion'; and offers the SurveysOnTheGo app, accessing an all-mobile panel. Its MFourDIY solution allows researchers to program and field mobile surveys to more than one million active consumers. Earlier this year, the company received $5m in funding, which it is using to expand its business, products and staff numbers.

Visconti (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' MR experience. Most recently, he was Market Research Manager for resort group The Venetian / The Palazzo, delivering insights for luxury resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. Prior to this, he spent a decade at MTV Networks, latterly as Director, Strategic Insights & Research, using brand tracking, ethnograpics, focus groups, pilot testing and online research to support the group's brands.

In his new role, Visconti works with clients to ensure survey feasibility, quality programming and consistent fulfillment of sample requirements. He also coordinates teamwork throughout the process of building and executing clients' research.

Cook has nearly fifteen years' experience in a wide range of roles in IT support and system administration for companies including Direct TV and Porsche.
