London-based opinion and behaviour research specialist BritainThinks has appointed Charlotte Malton as Senior Research Executive.

Launched in 2010 by Opinion Leader co-founders Deborah Mattinson and Viki Cooke and their former colleague Ben Shimshon, BritainThinks offers strategic advice for political, corporate and not-for-profit clients, while its WorldThinks international division has a specific focus on reputation research.

Malton (pictured) joins from the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) where she was responsible for education policy development. She began her career at agency ComRes where she worked across qual and quant projects with a focus on education, sport and social policy research. To date, Malton has delivered research projects for clients such as Universities UK, the London School of Economics (LSE) and TeachFirst, and she has also worked with multiple central government departments.

Commenting on the appointment, Cooke said: ‘We’re delighted to welcome Charlotte and can’t wait to see what her diverse experiences will bring to the team'.
