YouGov has appointed Ashley Martin as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 September 2018. From the beginning of November, Martin will Chair the Board's Audit and Risk Committee, taking over from Nick Jones who will remain on the Committee.

Martin (pictured) is currently a Non-Executive Director (NED) and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Zegona Communications, an operating company in the European TMT sector. Until recently he served nine years as a NED and Chair of the Audit Committee at online property portal Rightmove, and his previous executive roles include Group Finance Director at Tempus Group, Group Finance Director at Rok and Global Chief Financial Officer at The Engine Group Limited and Engine Holdings LLC.

Commenting on the appointment, Roger Parry, Chair, said: 'The Board of YouGov is delighted to welcome Ashley.
