In the US, shopper and packaging specialist Explorer Research has hired former PRS IN VIVO exec Jonathan Asher as EVP, based in Minneapolis, MN.

Explorer uses behavioral science and focuses on in-situation environments for its shopper research, including Shopper Labs and Virtual Reality technology. Asher (pictured) joins with 30 years of research and brand design experience. In addition to his ten years with PRS IN VIVO (previously Perception Research Services), Asher held management positions at various brand design agencies - including FutureBrand - and began his career in marketing research in corporate and supplier positions, which included spending more than eight years at The Coleman Group.

In his new role, Asher will work closely with Chris Whitaker, who heads the Chicago office, to expand the firm's reach.
