In New York, workplace advocacy tech and solutions platform Qnary has promoted Ray Carbonell to the role of Chief Executive Officer, replacing founder Bant Breen who now serves as CEO of Harte Hanks, while continuing as Qnary's Chairman.

Qnary's team of developers, SEO experts, data analysts and digital content specialists provide executives and employees with strategies to strengthen their online presence. Its rules-based engine optimizes a professional's social media, monitors their search results, facilitates and manages the creation, curation and approval of a professional's content, and monitors and measures their digital media footprint.

Carbonell (pictured) joined in 2012 as its first employee. In 2015, he was named EVP Account Solutions, and he was promoted to his most recent position as Global President in 2017. In the latter role, he oversaw Qnary's business outside of the US. Previously, Carbonell was a consultant at Mercer and he worked in private equity.

He succeeds Breen, who was last month, named CEO of Harte Hanks. Commenting on Carbonell's promotion, Breen said: 'I'm excited to pass the day-to-day reins over to Ray as Qnary accelerates its growth.
