Richard KosinskiUS-based TV audience measurement firm Tru Optik has appointed Richard Kosinski as Executive Vice President of Sales.

Tru Optik's platform enables users to deliver cross-screen targeting and attribution, by combining census-level over-the-top (OTT) viewer data with third party demographic, lifestyle and purchase data. The firm partners with companies - including Experian Marketing Services and Kantar - to gather and analyse data on viewers of OTT services. It also offers a suite of solutions called the OTT Marketing Cloud to help advertisers and publishers target and address audiences.

Kosinski (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' experience in both sales and business development roles in the digital media and adtech sectors. Most recently, he served as the MD of digital consultancy Blue Ocean Partnership, where he focused on new business development for adtech and digital media companies in the US and international markets. Before this, he worked for in-app mobile video company Receptiv (acquired by Verve last year) as Chief Revenue Officer, prior to which, he was President US of video ad distribution and tracking platform Unruly, and he held a variety of leadership roles for Yahoo!, Quantcast, The Wall Street Journal and CNET.

Commenting on the appointment, Tru Optik COO Frans Vermeulen says: 'Richard's vast experience and thorough understanding of the media and data value chain will be instrumental in his role leading Tru Optik's sales team. He will be focused on developing revenue strategies to grow our client sales and partnership efforts with agencies, brands, ad networks, programmatic platforms and Enterprise TV content producers in the US and abroad.'
