April 16 2019

Pablo GomezWPP-owned data, insights and consulting company Kantar has promoted Pablo Gomez to the role of Chief Digital Officer, Insights Division, covering the North Asia, South East Asia and the Pacific regions, based in Singapore.

Gomez (pictured) joined two years ago as Media Director, Insights Division, prior to which, he worked for IPG Mediabrands as Strategic Planning Director, and Universal McCann as Strategy and Research Director. Earlier, he spent nearly eleven years at advertising, marcoms, media and brand equity research specialist Kantar Millward Brown, where he latterly served as Group Account Director.

His promotion follows the move to one Kantar brand and the launch of the DIY Kantar Marketplace, which provides access to the company's portfolio of quick turnaround solutions. In his new role, Gomez will be responsible for driving digital capability throughout Kantar, and helping clients gain competitive advantage through new technology-driven advances.

Adrian Gonzalez, CEO for Kantar in the region, commented: 'We need to be digital-first in everything we do in order to help our clients succeed and win in their connected environments. Pablo's principle remit will be to drive digital capability throughout Kantar, by strengthening our digital knowledge, solutions and talent throughout the company. Central to this is also further developing our many partnerships with tech and data companies in the region.'
