In the UK, qual and quant fieldwork services agency Ardent Fieldwork has appointed Giuseppe Fiumara as Healthcare Fieldwork Manager.

Founded in 2013 by former Field Initiatives (FI) director Vipul Chokshi, London-based Ardent provides qual services such as focus groups, accompanied shops, panel recruitment, and ethnography/immersion depths; and quant services including online surveys, mystery shopping, product placement and recall tests, and tracking studies. Fiumara (pictured) joins after more than two years at pharma specialist Elma Research, where he served as Senior Project Manager. Prior to this, he held project management roles at Hall & Partners, QualWorld, and WorldOne, having begun his MR career at EMS Research, with a focus on the healthcare and IT sectors in the Italian market.

Commenting on the appointment, Chokshi said: 'A sign of a growing and evolving company is to develop pillars of excellence within the business. With Giuseppe on board we are looking to significantly develop and expand our healthcare fieldwork offering to existing and new clients.'
