In the US, SampleCon, the conference for survey sampling, has added Dynata exec Bob Fawson to its Board of Directors.

Launched in 2013, SampleCon provides a forum for discussion of the global topics facing the sample industry. Next year, the conference will take place February 3-5, 2020 at the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta. Fawson (pictured) joins the Board, which includes members from Cint, EMI Research Solutions, Ipsos, JD Power, Maru/Blue, Paradigm Sample and ThinkNow.

He currently serves as EVP, Business Operations at online sampling and digital data collection company Dynata, where he oversees the operational aspects of the firm's data and research business, including panels and partnerships, member support, data quality and integrity, and survey programming and data processing. Earlier, Fawson served as Chief Access, Supply and Engagement Officer at Opinionology, which merged with Survey Sampling International in 2011.
