Les CarterIn New York, Les Carter has returned to advanced TV ad platform company Cadent as Chief Technology Officer, overseeing all engineering and leading development of the firm's data-driven solutions for buying and selling TV advertising.

Cadent connects brands with national TV audiences across cable, broadcast, and digital media; and its platform provides an integrated solution for planning, activating, and analyzing addressable campaigns at scale. Earlier this month, Cadent acquired identity and media convergence solutions company 4INFO, allowing it to offer cross-screen advanced audience targeting, and OTT / connected TV video buying capabilities for national advertisers.

Carter (pictured) re-joins from subscription-based video streaming service Hulu, where he served as VP of Advertising Engineering, leading tech development. Prior to this, he was Chief Architect at Cadent, leading strategy, design and implementation for advertising solutions. He began his tenure at Cadent through BlackArrow, acquired by Cadent in 2015, where he built technologies which led to multiple patents, including Cadent's addressable linear TV solution.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Nick Troiano said: 'Les has unmatched experience building traditional and next-generation TV ad technology, and he has the skills necessary to enable Cadent to continue to innovate in this dynamic, rapidly changing market.
