Philippe CartallierIn Paris, France, MR firm OpinionWay has appointed Philippe Cartallier as International Development Director, in charge of international studies growth and subsidiaries.

Launched in 2000, OpinionWay specialises in areas such as market understanding, brand issues, and product and service development, for B2B and B2C clients. The firm has had a presence in North Africa (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria) since 2016, and plans to pursue growth in 2020 across sub-Saharan Africa and Eastern Europe.

Cartallier (pictured) most recently served as CEO, Consulting and Management at C Business, which helps clients with international business development and transformation, mainly in Africa. Prior to this, he held senior roles at companies such as Danone in Algeria, Orange (preparing the company to launch in Democratic Republic of Congo), the European Commission, SoLocal, Havas Media, and McCann. In his new role, Cartallier will help OpinionWay to accelerate its international development, providing clients with new local and multi-country market research offers.

He is also tasked with helping clients and international accounts gain a deeper understanding of their markets, and will report to company President, Hugues Cazenave, who comments: 'Creating this new structure led by Philippe Cartallier, is part of our ambition to help clients in growth markets take quick and effective action, using a set of studies specifically designed for them.'
