Paul WellsMelbourne, Australia-based research tech firm Glow has appointed Paul Wells as global Marketing Director.

SaaS platform Glow was founded in 2013 by former PWC director Tim Clover, and provides real-time access to more than 60 million consumers worldwide via a partnership with Dynata. A year ago it hired Derek Brown as MD APAC, and it February it added Neil Gupta in the same role for the UK.

Wells (pictured) joins after a decade of consulting for brands including Piaggio, Mercure Hotels, Walgreens Boots and the London 2012 Olympics, and has also worked at the Melbourne offices of MediaCom and Havas.

CEO Clover welcomes Wells' more than two decades of marketing expertise and his 'strong leadership, strategic smarts and impressive track record of building international brands'. He adds: 'Paul's arrival signals a step change for us as we continue our expansion into the UK and US markets. As our chief marketer, he will be responsible for providing vision, guiding commercial direction and stewarding the Glow brand to new heights. We're excited to have him on board'.
