Nadya KohnIn New York, electric vehicle charging network Volta has hired former PlaceIQ exec Nadya Kohn as Chief Marketing Officer.

San Francisco-headquartered Volta's digital, place-based media allows brand partners to reach high-value audiences in historically unavailable 'out of home' locations. Kohn (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' experience in marketing, data and technology. She previously led marketing and business development at location intelligence specialist PlaceIQ, and prior to this she held positions overseeing marketing, corporate strategy, business development, partnerships and M&A for multi-channel marketing companies, most notably Experian's Marketing Services business where she was a founder of Experian's global Audience Services platform.

In her new role, Kohn will be responsible for Volta's brand and marketing strategy, advertising, creative services, social media and corporate communications. CEO and founder Scott Mercer comments: 'Nadya's deep experience in the data world will be tremendously additive to our team as the electric vehicle market accelerates'.
