In New York, data-driven media and marketing services group ENGINE has promoted Vashti Chatman to the role of Chief Talent Officer for the US.

Founded in 2005, ENGINE has global headquarters in New York and 16 offices across North America, the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific, from where it offers insights, creative, media, data and technology services. Earlier this year, it launched a platform called Audience Intelligence, offering first-party data and integrations to enable advertisers to target audience profiles and develop media plans.

Chatman (pictured) joined in 2015 as Director of Talent for the ENGINE Insights division, responsible for HR, as well as leading culture, recruitment, and strategy initiatives. She began her career as a Staffing Specialist at Manpower, before moving to Today's Staffing, and later serving as Divisional HR Manager at Check 'n Go Corporate, and then working at Axcess Financial Services as Manager of HR Shared Services.

In her new role, Chatman will lead the HR team in the US and partner with the firm's Global CEO, Kasha Cacy, focusing on policies, people, culture, and workplace strategies. She reports directly to Cacy, who comments: 'Vashti's promotion reflects her enormous talent and the great contributions she has already made to our business. She has proven herself to be a true leader with a passion for recruiting, developing, and retaining talent, and has also been at the forefront of our diversity and inclusion initiatives.
