Clarissa RiveraUS Research firm Smarty Pants has appointed quantitative senior analyst Clarissa Rivera to its growing talent roster in the role of 'Insights Brainiac', designing and managing primary MR projects and analysing data for its retail, entertainment, CPG and education clients.

The firm has offices in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Phoenix, Tampa, Raleigh-Durham and Myrtle Beach; and offers custom market research, brand positioning, product development and consulting on generational trends.

Rivera joins from Nickelodeon, where she spent five years providing in-depth, cross-platform ratings analysis and competitive intelligence to key stakeholders, for units including SVOD, digital, OTT platforms and competing networks. Before this she worked as a digital research analyst at Viacom (now Paramount), supporting brands like Spike, MTV and Logo. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media Communications at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Master of Science in Media Management from The New School.
