In the UK, the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) has appointed TSRC Director John Mohan as a Trustee on its Board.
NatCen is a not-for-profit and registered charity which 'aims to promote a better-informed society through high quality social research'. Mohan (pictured) helped establish the Third Sector Research Centre (TSRC) in 2008 and is now its Director. TSRC works on the resources, roles and relationships of third sector organisations, and the impacts and contributions these organisations make. He is also Professor of Social Policy at the University of Birmingham, with research interests spanning social geography, health policy and the role and contribution of the voluntary sector.
