Craig RogersIn the US, pet products industry marcoms provider Matrix Partners has appointed long-time newspaper industry exec Craig Rogers as Vice President of Consumer Insights.

Matrix Partners provides full-service support, covering everything from digital marketing and social media programming to web development and package design. Rogers (pictured) joins with more than 30 years' experience growing brands in the media sector. Most recently, he was a Marketing Consultant at Allen Media Broadcasting, before which, he was Publisher and Chief Revenue Officer for the Southern Illinoisan newspaper group. Earlier, he worked for The Elkhart Truth as Sales Director; The Indianapolis Star as Director of Marketing & Business Development; Peoria Journal Star as Director of Sales and Marketing; and the Post and Courier as Director of Marketing; having begun his career as Research Manager at The Greenville News.

In his new role, Rogers will implement quantitative and qualitative measurement tools to help connect brands with their consumers. He will oversee MR and consumer concept testing, and will implement data analytics to help further brand positioning.
