Real-time data streaming and messaging solutions provider DiffusionData has appointed long-time Vizolution exec Frank McCarthy as Business Solutions Executive, Financial Services, EMEA.

Formerly known as Push Technology, DiffusionData provides infrastructure software for clients using fast-moving data streams, in sectors including financial services, eGaming, retail, transportation, health, defence and digital media. The tech allows companies to instantly connect, transform and deliver the data to business decision-makers.

McCarthy (pictured) was a Sales Manager at Oracle in the late 1990s, then spent around three years each at Entuity and RBS before joining IT services and consulting firm IdenTrust in mid-2006. After seven years there he moved to Vizolution, which streamlines complex customer journeys for clients in financial services and telecoms, spending a decade as Business Development Director.

In his new role as a Business Solutions Executive, McCarthy will help DiffusionData manage its expanding business 'in the financial sector and beyond'.
